"Fötalaty: Föten, die sich töten" - which is a word pun between the words Fötus (=Fetus) and "Fatality!" from Mortal Kombat - was born during the MMarmalade Game Jam at the University of Applied Sciences Salzburg, made up in just 48 hours under the theme "You are what you eat." Naturally, our minds went straight to cannibalism, since cannibals stay - more or less - human after eating other humans!
In this mini game, you step into the shoes of none other than Hannibal Lecter (We called him Hannibal-"Lecker" (Hannibal-"tasty"), who is chowing down on his siblings while still cozy in their mother's womb. At first, you nibble away at your opponents' limbs by wiggling around and grabbing onto them. As the feast progresses, only the head remains, gradually shrinking but still capable of delivering a bite or two before vanishing into thin air. May the hungriest Hannibal-Lecker win!
